Security

How we keep your data safe.

This covers the security of our Atlassian apps, Status Ribbon and Throughline. If you have a security question or want to report an issue, email contact@productiversed.com.

Where our apps run

Our Atlassian apps are built on Atlassian Forge and take part in the Runs on Atlassian programme. They run entirely on Atlassian's own hosted infrastructure. There are no servers of ours in the path, and the apps make no external network calls, so your data never leaves the Atlassian cloud.

What data they access

The apps are strictly read-only. They read only what they need to render the view you are looking at, for example the current issue's status history, its links, and a small set of fields such as created date, resolution date and current status. They do not write to your instance, and they do not change your data.

What they store

Nothing. The apps store no data and keep no copy of your content. Each view is generated on demand from data that already lives in your Atlassian instance, then discarded. They collect no personal data.

Access and permissions

The apps honour your existing Atlassian permissions. They only ever show a user what that user can already see. They request the least access needed to do their job, following the principle of least privilege, and they rely on Atlassian's own authentication. There are no separate accounts, passwords or API keys for you to manage.

Data residency and isolation

Because the apps run on Forge, your data stays within Atlassian's platform and its data residency controls. Processing happens inside Atlassian's trust boundary, and no data is copied to any third party.

Updates and maintenance

Updates are delivered through the Atlassian Marketplace and Forge's managed release process. We monitor for issues and act on relevant Atlassian platform and dependency advisories.

Reporting a vulnerability

If you believe you have found a security vulnerability in one of our apps, please email contact@productiversed.com with the details. We will acknowledge your report, investigate promptly, and keep you updated on the fix. Please give us a reasonable chance to resolve an issue before disclosing it publicly.
